As the summer progresses, my repertoire has evolved to some degree. This set list is from a late afternoon performance in a lovely backyard in Wellesley. Several set lists from earlier in the summer are documented here, here, and here.
Suite No. 1 in G (complete, with occasional repeats) Allemande, from flute partita in a minor After Bach by Netta Hadari (premiered November 2019) Philip Glass, excerpt from Songs and Poems, followed by Sarabande from Suite No. 5 Philip Glass, excerpt from Songs and Poems, preceded by Prelude from Suite No. 5 Brahms Waltz Beethoven Minuet in G Dvorak Humoresque Allemande, from Suite No. 6 (transposed to G) Bourrée I & II, from Suite No. 6 (transposed to G) The Swan, transitioning directly into Prelude, from Suite No. 1 in G (reprise) Meanwhile, I'm building up the confidence to introduce the Chaconne from Partita No. 2 into my programming after Labor Day, and maybe even some Britten. |
